
Carmen Waldeck
​Carmen Waldeck is the owner and senior instructor of Dance Factory Swakopmund, bringing international training, passion, and dedication to the Namibian dance community. With a strong foundation in classical ballet and jazz dance education, Carmen has built the studio into a space where dancers of all ages and abilities can grow in confidence, skill, and love for movement.


Carmen completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Education in the Netherlands, where she specialized in Classical Ballet and Jazz Dance. Her training combined strong technical foundations with modern teaching methodologies, equipping her to work with dancers of all levels and ages.
Following her studies, Carmen gained valuable international teaching experience in both the Netherlands and Australia, working with children, teens, and adults across a wide range of dance styles and skill levels. These experiences shaped her inclusive, professional, and dynamic approach to dance education.



Carmen completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Education in the Netherlands, where she specialized in Classical Ballet and Jazz Dance. Her training combined strong technical foundations with modern teaching methodologies, equipping her to work with dancers of all levels and ages.

Upon returning to Swakopmund, Carmen founded and now leads Dance Factory Swakopmund, where she serves as both owner and principal teacher. Through the studio, she continues to grow a vibrant dance community focused on quality training, creativity, and personal development.
